Back in the 80s I was lucky to live in the Santa Cruz mountain and loved every minute of it. I had chickens, ducks, geese, raised a pig, canned and froze fruits and vegetables, made my own bread and tried my best to lower my footprint on earth.

Almost 40 years later I’m trying it again. This time my dream to own land, have fruit trees, garden, horses and chickens has come true. Truthfully, it hasn’t been easy but thankfully, I’m a a little wiser and when things don’t work out it’s not the end of the world, instead it’s time to go back to the drawing board.
